Welcome to my portfolio website! As you may probably know by now, my name is Paul Konings and Game Design is my vocation.
Currently I'm 23 years old and a student of Game Design at the Utrecht School of the Arts. Using the time and resources I recieve during my education, I am developing the neccesary skills I need to become a professional game designer. The selected work in this portfolio is the direct cause and result of the knowledge I'm gathering during these years as a learning game designer.
I focus on play over visuals or storytelling. Through exceptional gameplay I hope to capture the hearts of players and let them experience something unique within the first few minutes of a game. Where I can, I also try to be experimental to come up with new ways to play or experience a game. To create something beyond what is conventional in games, that is my biggest passion.
